A recent Forrester’s research indicates that the massive growth in RPA services was a result not only of organisations adopting RPA as a cost mitigation strategy, but because automation was regarded as critical to the implementation of broader digital transformation efforts.
It is confirmed that the move from analogue to digital is surely enabled by the introduction of RPA.
It also appears that the bulk of RPA users are based in North America (35%) and Europe (31%), followed by India (10%), Australasia (7%) and Japan (5%). RPA adoption is still in its earliest stages in the Middle East (3%) and South America (5%).
Forrester was unable to provide information about RPA adoption in Africa, or South Africa, as it was unable to source sufficient data.
